Escape to our 2Bedroom, wood-crafted cabin on the lake. Surrounded by ponderosa pines, custom landscaping, and majestic views; you don’t want to miss out on this space and experience! This cabin is a perfect getaway for friends, families, and couples.

Two bedrooms boast new comfortable queen mattresses and charming décor; the couch pulls out to a full-size mattress that can accommodate 1-2 children under 10 with a $35.00 linen charge. The living and dining-room capture natural light and feel spacious and open with high-beam ceilings. Free Netflix and Wi-Fi. The darling, sunny gourmet kitchen is stocked with everything from coffee makers to appliances, a kitchen nook with window seating, and the full bathroom is off the kitchen. The cabin is thoroughly stocked with linens, cleaning supplies, personal care products, and all amenities to cook with. Double glass doors open to a large wooden deck offering sweeping lake views, a picnic table, BBQ, and patio chairs. Below the deck and nestled in the trees and a picnic table waiting for you!

We have two independent cabins next to one another in a friendly neighborhood, which share a secluded ⅓ acre of lakefront property and shoreline, 3-person canoe/rowboat, SUP, oars/life jackets, and a couple of fishing poles. Pro tip: Book our Shanty Chic 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom together for an unforgettable vacation!

"Beachfront" Lake!

"This is one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in. The house was cozy and spotlessly clean — perfect for our family of four looking for some forest time. This is one of those locations that has the perfect combination of accessibility and remoteness. Having "beachfront" access on this lake is rare, but this house has it! It's very well provisioned with free access to a canoe and kayak and everything else — life jackets, fishing equipment, etc. Every little detail has been accounted for. Girls weekend

"I am absolutely in love with Rene's Shanty Chic Cabins on the Lake! My girlfriends and I have been scattered to the wind and finally managed to plan this long overdue escape to catch up and unwind. There were 3 of us and we stayed in the 2-bedroom cabin. It is the cutest little rustic cabin with wonderful vintage touches! We cooked breakfast in the cabin every morning and a couple dinners too, the kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. Coming back to the cozy warm cabin could not have been any more perfect! We slept like babies and spent many hours just relaxing and chatting with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine at the kitchen table or on the deck overlooking the lake. A cabin in the woods

"This cabin was just what we wanted- a small cabin in the woods with a beautiful view. The photos are accurate and the place is clean and well run. It's a bit rustic, but for me that was a feature. FABULOUS!

"Rene is a GREAT communicator. If you need anything, just ask. She gave us advice before we got there and even let us in about an hour early. (It was raining hard so we didn't really have anywhere to go.) The cabin is FABULOUS! We had two teens, two adults, and a small dog. There is a TON of space inside and on the porch to hang out together or apart. It was really clean when we checked in. Keep in mind this is a cottage on a lake, not a hotel in Manhattan, so it has charm and quirkiness. The bedrooms were comfy with plenty of storage. There are tables inside & outside for meals and hanging out, so you can be inside if the weather turns. Lovely place. Gorgeous views. :)" Liz, 2021.
